The first email ever was sent in 1971 by a computer programmer named Ray Tomlinson, and today over 100 billion emails per day are transmitted and received all around the world. Most emails are business related, and the majority of those are sales-related. Unfortunately a lot of emails are “spam” and many people have a general distaste for unsolicited email.
Dearborn Marketing doesn’t get involved in these types of email campaigns, as they waste time, money and are unproductive. We do, however work with small businesses to develop meaningful, productive campaigns sent to existing customers or prospects who have agreed to receive messages. It’s know as permission-based email and it can be very productive.
Some marketing campaigns benefit by using email marketing, and others don’t. We examine every client’s business model and decide if it’s appropriate to help reach their goals.
